Your Schedule, Your Way

Traditional schools run on a rigid 8-to-3 schedule that was never designed for students who train 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week. At Sycamore Academy, your child's academic schedule is built around their training — not the other way around. Early morning practices? Afternoon competitions? Travel weeks for tournaments? We work with all of it. Lessons can be scheduled for early mornings, evenings, or weekends. If your child is traveling for competition, we adjust the schedule so they never fall behind.

NCAA-Approved and College-Ready

Sycamore Academy is NCAA-approved, which means our core courses count toward Division I, II, and III eligibility requirements. We understand the academic standards college athletic programs demand, and our counselors work directly with families to ensure your student-athlete's transcript, GPA, and course rigor meet every requirement. Whether your child is being recruited for a D1 scholarship or planning to walk on at a D3 program, we make sure the academics are airtight.

Performers and Artists, Too

It's not just athletes. Sycamore Academy is home to competitive dancers, musicians, actors, and artists who need the same flexibility. If your child is rehearsing for a production, traveling for auditions, or spending hours in the studio each day, we build their education around that commitment. We believe the discipline your child brings to their craft makes them a better student — and we design their academic experience to prove it.

Athlete Stories

From Families Who Balance Both

These student athletes prove you don't have to sacrifice one dream for another.

"My daughter trains 35 hours a week in competitive gymnastics. Before Sycamore, she was exhausted and falling behind in school. Now she has a 3.9 GPA and her coaches say she's performing better because she's not stressed about homework at midnight."

Karen T.

Parent of a competitive gymnast, 10th grade

"I was recruited by three D1 programs and Sycamore made sure my transcript, test scores, and eligibility were all taken care of. My college counselor even helped me communicate with coaches. I couldn't have done it at a regular school."

MJ

Marcus J.

Student athlete, now playing D1 soccer

"Our son is a professional-track musician who practices 4-5 hours a day and travels for competitions. Sycamore gave him a real education without making him choose between music and school. That meant everything to our family."
