A Typical Day at Sycamore Academy
Most school days begin with engaging, live instruction in the core subjects—Math, English, Science, and Social Studies—taught by our caring, dedicated teachers. Students interact with their classmates, ask questions, participate in discussions, and receive personalized guidance in a supportive online classroom.
Afternoons are reserved for electives, independent practice, enrichment activities, and additional support when needed. This balanced schedule allows students to explore their interests while reinforcing what they've learned during their live classes.
Because our classes are focused and well organized, most students complete their school day in just four to five hours, leaving plenty of time to enjoy sports, music lessons, hobbies, family activities, church involvement, and simply being kids. We believe students learn best when they have a healthy balance between academics and the rest of life.
